Hi, I’m Leah!
I fell in love with yoga in 2012 and have never looked back. I had no idea how big yoga would be in my life, but as the saying goes I didn’t find yoga, yoga found me. The way this practice has impacted me and my life is indescribable and something that I strive to share with others so that they can feel empowered and connected to their highest truths.
I am fortunate to teach every day, however what I do is much more than just a guided practice on the mat. I help people who feel lost, unclear, or disempowered to find their voice, speak their truths, and discover a new love for life off their mat too.
After a couple years of rehabilitation from a car accident, I wanted to travel but knew it was important to maintain all of my hard work for my health. Under the guidance of one of my providers I decided to go somewhere I could do yoga. Eventually I decided I wanted to learn more and pursued my first certification where I started to discover what yoga really meant to me.
After receiving my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology I have also completed two 200-hour certifications and one 500-hour certification focusing on Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Ayurveda. I manage a successful studio in Colorado where I enjoy teaching students of all levels and lead yoga teacher trainings, workshops, and but most importantly build community.
My true passion is connecting to my students through their stories both on and off their mats. While I love to teach, it is the moments after class when I see students truly connect to the teachings that make it come to life. When I am not teaching I am guiding off the mat through coaching and mentoring to individuals and small groups.
In my free time I love to spend time with my hubs, our crazy puppy, travel, explore new music, and spend time with family and friends in my home state of Colorado.
